Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies.
- Deliver clinical care efficiently with a high level of technical and organizational skills, plus critical thinking.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions when appropriate.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license as required by California regulations.
- Interventional radiology or cardiac/vascular imaging experience preferred.
- Ability to perform and assist in radiographic interventional procedures and operate related equipment.
- Proficient in positioning patients and obtaining high-quality digital images; strong critical thinking and clinical-care skills.
- Ability to work a rotating 4x10-hour schedule in a hospital/interventional setting.
