Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) in Rochester, NY. Start on 06/22/2026 for a travel assignment of several weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,841–$1,898 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients on the MS/Tele unit, focusing on cardiac and stroke diagnoses.
- Monitor vital signs, analyze telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and participate in Rapid Response/Code events as needed.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy and peripheral line care.
- Document patient care in Epic with accurate, timely charting; communicate changes in patient status to the care team.
- Collaborate with PCTs, PT, RT, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Unit Secretary; float within scope to MS, ICU, and ED as required.
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand to submit; pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
- Epic charting experience required for submission
- First-time travelers accepted; local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
- Floating within scope to MS/Telemetry, ICU, and ED
