Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatment across acute care, outpatient, and SNF settings; develop and implement individual plans of care
- Address a broad patient population (all ages and diagnoses) with emphasis on gait training, transfers, discharge planning, and therapeutic exercise
- Provide specialty care as appropriate (wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, pediatrics) and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Document patient progress and plan of care in the Epic charting system; participate in care conferences and discharge planning
- Adapt treatment plans for varying patient needs and coordinate with therapists and nursing staff; educate patients and families on home programs and safety
- May float to sister facilities as needed; adhere to facility policies and procedures; comply with holiday coverage requirements

Requirements
- Active Alaska PT license; compact license must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; first-time travelers accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Local rule: permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
- Ability to work across acute care, outpatient, and SNF settings; willingness to float as needed
- Must confirm required skills/experience per unit director during compliance and have two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
