Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Labor & Delivery RN – high-risk perinatal care opportunity in Everett, Washington. Start date: 06/15/2026. Travel - temporary assignment lasting Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,071–$2,177 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This travel assignment takes place in a hospital setting with a high-acuity perinatal unit. The role requires WA RN or WA Compact license in-hand and includes non-guaranteed hours. Orientation is provided (40 hours) prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Deliver labor and delivery nursing care with 1:1 intrapartum coverage as needed and appropriate patient monitoring
- Monitor electronic fetal monitoring, interpret patterns, and respond to deviations per unit protocol
- Assist with cesarean deliveries and provide post-operative recovery support
- Perform newborn assessment and neonatal resuscitation as indicated; ensure stabilization and ongoing care
- Recognize and manage postpartum hemorrhage; administer IV therapies (e.g., oxytocin/Pitocin, magnesium sulfate) and related interventions
- Maintain sterile vaginal exams as required and participate in triage, admission, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with obstetric providers, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; document in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- License: WA RN or WA Compact RN required; WA license in-hand expected; local candidates not accepted
- Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; first-timers accepted; preferred background in Labor & Delivery/high-risk perinatal care
- Education: Active RN license; ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) and operate in a Level III-type perinatal setting
- Additional: References – 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (may include Charge RN/Lead); orientation and pre-start modules required; ability to float to Postpartum; weekends required
- Submittal notes: Per client requirements, there is a 1 submittal per facility constraint
