About the Role
Are you an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner looking for your next rewarding travel assignment? We are seeking a flexible, highly skilled Travel PMHNP to join a dedicated clinical team. In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care in an outpatient setting while enjoying competitive travel compensation and support.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments for adult patients.
Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and provide ongoing medication management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff.
Adapt quickly to new facility protocols, EHR systems, and workflow routines.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience as a practicing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (prior travel experience preferred).
Licensure: Active, unrestricted NP license in the state of [State] (or active Compact/eNLC license with APRN endorsement).
Certification: Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) required.
Prescriptive Authority: Active DEA license with full prescriptive authority (including Schedule II–V).
Flexibility: Comfortable adapting to high-volume workflows, day-shift schedules, and immediate operational needs.
Certifications: BLS required.
