Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for cardiac ICU patients per unit protocols
- Monitor hemodynamic status, telemetry, and invasive lines; perform assessments and respond to changes
- Administer medications, including IV drips, and titrate as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, case management, and other care team members
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to care plans and documentation standards
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record
Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Cardiac ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12 rotating shifts (days or nights)
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills
