Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams across multiple anatomical regions, ensuring proper patient positioning and strict adherence to radiation safety practices.
- Operate radiographic equipment and optimize image quality; verify images meet quality standards prior to release.
- Provide OR imaging support with a strong backgound in the operative environment; assist surgical teams as needed.
- Float to additional campuses as required; adapt to different teams, equipment, and patient populations.
- Document procedures and patient data accurately in the EMR system (Epic) in accordance with past usage within the last two years.
- Participate in weekend rotations and potential on-call; some holidays may be required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Requirements
- ARRT certification verification (Radiography)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience
- OR imaging experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to float to other campuses and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays; reliable transportation to assignments
