Responsibilities
- Circulate during orthopedic, endoscopic, and general surgery cases; maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument counts
- Position patients, anticipate surgeon needs, and manage intraoperative equipment and supplies
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, communicate changes to the surgical team, and support anesthesia as appropriate
- Ensure accurate documentation of intraoperative events and post-case handoffs
- Uphold patient safety, privacy, and infection prevention standards throughout the case
Requirements
- Strong orthopedic OR experience
- Ability to work as a circulating RN in a surgical environment
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026
- Willingness to work 40 scheduled hours per week (Mon–Fri Days), with rare call/holidays
- Comfortable working in a rural, critical access hospital setting
