Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Salida, Colorado. Start date 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,753–$2,887 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.). Setting: Critical Access Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Direct patient care and monitoring for labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
- Assess and document maternal and neonatal status, including fetal monitoring as appropriate
- Educate mother and family on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum needs
- Document events, assessments, and education in the patient medical record
- Communicate patient condition and plan with physicians and the nursing supervisor
- Collaborate with nursery and other FBC staff; assist physicians with procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to emergencies as needed
- Act as a patient advocate and participate in care planning and discharge education
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
- Minimum ADN from an accredited nursing program
- BLS and NRP required; ACLS certification and NRP preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Ability to work in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with documentation and electronic medical records; strong communication skills
