Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the Med Surg Tele setting, including monitoring, assessments, and discharge planning

- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns promptly to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and ensure patient safety
- Maintain quality of care during unit float rotation and uphold infection prevention and safety standards
- Promote patient and family education and advocate for patient needs throughout the shift
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (as required for assignment location)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/Tele or related inpatient setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Epic EMR experience
- Ability to float to other units as assigned; comfortable working in a float position
- Start date: 01/04/2027
- No more than three days of approved time off; no holiday time off approved
