Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document administration accurately.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess conditions, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Provide nursing assessments, wound care, and activities of daily living assistance per care plans.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications in accordance with facility policy and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
- Ensure infection control standards and accurate charting in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license or compact license
- BLS certification
- 1+ year GERI/LTC LPN experience
- PCC experience preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in a 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shift
- Education: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or equivalent
