Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Rushville, Illinois. This 13-week assignment begins on 06/08/2026. Weekly pay ranges from $1,864 to $2,024. Hours are not guaranteed. Shifts are 12-hour nights on a 3x12 schedule. This is a travel - temporary assignment with a focus on acute ER patient care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of ER patients, including assessment, ongoing monitoring, and documentation.
- Triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity; initiate appropriate interventions per ER protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate with the physician and interdisciplinary team for timely patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records, and communicate changes in patient status to the care team.
- Support discharge planning, patient and family education, and referrals as indicated; ensure patient safety and comfort during the shift.
Requirements
- Current Illinois registered nurse license (active) required.
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS required; TNCC preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; no experience necessary.
- Ability to work in an ER setting within a Critical Access Hospital and participate in rotating night shift duties.
- Eligibility for travel assignment and ability to meet assignment requirements and schedule needs.
