Echo Tech (Echocardiography Technician) – Radiology, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 04/07/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,466 to $2,666 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 rotating (8-hour day shifts with rotating evenings/nights/weekend call). This assignment focuses on echocardiography across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and cath lab environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms, including evaluation of chamber size/function and valvular disease
- Administer ultrasound contrast agents (Optison/Definity) and perform bubble studies; monitor patient response
- Conduct stress echocardiography (exercise and dobutamine) and document findings
- Operate equipment such as Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin; ensure image quality and patient safety
- Work across multiple settings (inpatient, outpatient, ER, cath lab) and participate in rotating on-call coverage including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Document results in EMR systems (Athena, Meditech, PICOM) and communicate findings clearly to the cardiology team
Requirements
- Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) and BLS required
- Licensure: Active credentialing as applicable (RDCS) plus BLS
- Experience: Proficiency in TTE, TEE, and contrast-enhanced studies; experience with exercise and dobutamine stress echo; familiarity with bubble studies
- Equipment/EMR: Experience with Philips and Siemens echocardiography platforms and EMR systems Athena, Meditech, PICOM
- Setting: Able to work effectively in inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab environments
- Additional skills: Pediatric TTEL experience is a plus
- Accessibility: Willingness to rotate evenings/nights/weekends as part of call schedule
- Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assignment facility
