Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse, ICU - Travel Assignment. Burlington, VT, US. Start date 07/02/2026. Duration 4 weeks. Weekly pay $1,875-$2,004 per week. Shift 3x12 Rotating. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill adults in the ICU, with potential float to other units as needed
- Monitor and manage multiple titrating drips, ventilator support, and advanced hemodynamic devices; participate in rapid response as required
- Initiate IV access, administer medications per orders, and adjust therapy based on patient response
- Assess neurological status using NIHSS, document findings, and escalate changes promptly to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff; participate in daily rounds and care planning
- Document all care and interventions in EPIC EMR within required timeframes; ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license on file at time of submission
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
- NIHSS certification required prior to start; CCRN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/unit experience; prior travel experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU environment and float to SICU or other units as needed; available for weekend coverage as required
