Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies, abdomen, pelvis, and other targeted protocols, adhering to ARDMS RDMS standards.
- Acquire high-quality images, measurements, and documentation; communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting radiologist per protocol.
- Manage patient positioning, comfort, and safety; apply sterile technique and infection control practices; maintain equipment and质量 control.
- Collaborate with radiology and referring physicians; participate in on-call rotation as required; contribute to timely patient care and patient flow.
- Work across multiple sites (hospital and imaging center) on a 13-week travel assignment with appropriate credentialing and procedural competencies.
Requirements
- ARDMS credential with RDMS certification (active/valid) required.
- Vascular ultrasound knowledge with ability to perform upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasound.
- Ability to work day shift with rotating call; travel to multiple sites as assigned.
- Vascular ultrasound experience preferred; strong imaging, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be able to operate ultrasound equipment and maintain sterile technique; commitment to patient-centered care.
