Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas. Start date 04/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,076–$2,187 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating evening/night schedule. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ED patients, including triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions per physician orders; recognize adverse effects and respond promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient flow and safety
- Document all patient care and treatment details accurately in the electronic medical record
- Assist with procedures, airway management, and patient stabilization as needed
- Educate patients and families, coordinate discharges or transfers, and ensure appropriate safety instructions are conveyed
Requirements
- Current RN license in Kansas or multi-state license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Conscious Sedation Competency
- Additional certification preferred: TNCC
- Experience: minimum 1 year of ED experience within the last 12 months; 2+ years preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED with inpatient boarders, non-floating to other units, and rotating 12-hour shifts
- Weekend coverage up to 3 shifts per pay period; no on-call required
