Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Marysville, CA. Start date 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks, 36 hours per week on a nights rotation of 12-hour shifts. This is a travel-temporary assignment in a hospital’s emergency department providing triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients across all ages. The role requires nursing care aligned with the medical plan of care, collaboration with the care team, and teaching and discharge planning as part of the overall plan of care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for a patient group across pediatric to geriatric ages during a designated shift, using the nursing process and patient input.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care team members to coordinate delivery of care per the medical plan.
- Triage, treat and support trauma and emergency patients in the ER, applying department protocols and safety standards.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care to support patient and family understanding.
- Delegate certain nursing tasks to appropriate staff according to current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
- Maintain patient safety, administer medications, monitor for changes in condition, and document interventions and outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license and ability to practice as a registered nurse (CA) in the ER setting
- RN with capacity to work nights in a high-acuity emergency department
- Experience or demonstrated competence in caring for patients of all ages in acute care trauma/ER environments
- Able to operate within a supportive, CNA-represented ER team and collaborate across disciplines
- Eligible for a travel assignment of 8 weeks starting 08/10/2026
