Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor resident responses and adjust care as needed.
- Conduct patient assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including ADLs, hygiene, mobility support, and safety monitoring.
- Monitor residents with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and mood disorders; implement care plans accordingly.
- Document in the electronic medical record (Point Click Care, PCC) and ensure accurate, up-to-date charting.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in North Dakota or eligibility to submit licensure (license to submit: Yes).
- BLS Certification.
- Ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Post-Acute care setting.
- Experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred; familiarity with PCC is a plus.
- High standard of clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork in a residential care environment.
