Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in the LTC setting, including assessments, monitoring, and daily care activities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, with accurate documentation
- Monitor vital signs, evaluate changes in patient condition, and respond to emergencies per protocol
- Develop, implement, and modify care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation of care, interventions, and outcomes
- Support activities of daily living, assist with mobility and comfort, and ensure a safe environment
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico
- Local candidate residing within commuting distance to Gallup, NM
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to participate in a 4-week local travel assignment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
