Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date May 4, 2026 for an eight-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,687–$1,714 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night, on a 2x3 schedule. Setting: hospital-based ICU with float coverage to multiple critical care areas as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU; monitor hemodynamics, assess conditions, administer prescribed medications and therapies, and manage relevant equipment.
- Float to all critical care floors, ER and ER holds as needed; assist with MTC/Step-Down/PACU holds when required; respond to rapid changes in patient status and participate in code and rapid response events.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EPIC EMR; ensure accuracy and timely charting.
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards; maintain BLS and ACLS competencies; support family communication and patient advocacy.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state where the assignment is located or as applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a facility of similar size or acuity
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to float to ER and other critical care areas; capable of working a night shift on a 2x3 schedule
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
