Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor patient status and adjust interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor for adverse effects and document responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; assign tasks and provide supervision to ensure quality care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines; communicate plan of care and ensure continuity across shifts.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in nursing practice; maintain patient safety and adherence to standards.
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- 1+ year Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a home health/hospice setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Eligible for travel assignments and able to comply with applicable regulatory requirements
