Travel Radiology Special Procedures Tech Job
Aspen’s appeal goes beyond its world-class skiing and scenic trails. Working here means joining a renowned medical community that prioritizes collaboration, continuous learning, and patient-centered care. You’ll benefit from a location that values work-life balance and outdoor recreation as part of a healthy, sustainable professional rhythm. The role also offers the chance to experience diverse practice settings across the U.S., should you opt to rotate or temporarily relocate for assignments, enriching your perspective and expanding your professional network. The environment in which you’ll practice emphasizes access to cutting-edge technology, interdisciplinary teamwork, and a culture that respects your skill and time.
In this position, your key responsibilities center on delivering high-quality image-guided care with a focus on patient safety and procedural excellence. You’ll assist interventional teams during complex vascular and non-vascular procedures, prepare and maintain sterile fields, perform accurate patient positioning, and operate or troubleshoot fluoroscopy and ancillary imaging modalities under physician supervision. You’ll manage contrast administration, monitor for adverse reactions, document procedures meticulously, and communicate clearly with patients to ease anxiety and improve cooperation. There’s ample room for professional growth as you expand competencies in endovascular techniques, advanced imaging protocols, and procedural optimization. The role carries opportunities for contract extensions and continuing education, enabling you to build a durable, advanced skill set within the specialty. You’ll also benefit from a robust support structure, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team to help you navigate travel logistics, clinical questions, and any on-site needs that arise along your journey.
From a benefits perspective, this assignment is designed to recognize your expertise with competitive compensation and a supportive package. You’ll earn a weekly pay rate between $2,339 and $2,354, reflecting the specialized skill set required for high-precision interventions. In addition to competitive pay, the position offers housing assistance to ease relocation and living arrangements, as well as the potential for contract extensions that let you deepen your experience with familiar colleagues and workflows. A bonus provision is available to acknowledge exceptional performance and contribution, underscoring the value placed on your commitment. Crucially, you’ll enjoy comprehensive support throughout your travel with the company, including around-the-clock access to resources, clinical guidance, and logistics coordination, so you can focus on delivering outstanding patient care while you travel.
Company values center on empowerment, development, and a thriving, supportive work environment. The organization is dedicated to helping staff advance their careers, whether through specialty training, mentorship, or exposure to expanding practice areas within radiology. You’ll join a culture that promotes open communication, continuous improvement, and teamwork, where your expertise is respected and your professional growth is a priority. The commitment to staff well-being is evident in the structured support networks, request-ready resources, and a welcoming atmosphere that recognizes both your clinical skill and your personal journey.
