Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult oncology-medical-surgical patients on a telemetry unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; administer medications and IV therapies; manage oxygen delivery; respond to rapid responses and codes as part of the rapid-response team.
- Document thoroughly in EPIC; maintain accurate assessments, care plans, and progress notes; communicate with the interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, transport, unit secretary, interpretation services).
- Adhere to infection control practices and isolation precautions; monitor telemetry via CMU; manage equipment and supplies; prepare for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Float within the pod as needed; participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care across patients and care teams.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Washington
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; oncology experience required
- BLS certification; Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- Proficiency with EPIC charting; telemetry monitoring experience
- Availability for 3x12 Night shifts; weekend coverage; ability to float within the pod
- Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years; ability to complete pre-start modules
