Position: Registered Nurse – ER. Location: Marysville, California, United States. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital emergency department. Start date: August 10, 2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,801 to $1,833 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. The ER department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift as a registered professional nurse.
- Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process, aligned with the medical plan of care and input from the patient and significant others.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate delivery of care to patients of any age (neonatal through geriatric) depending on the assigned unit.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
- Provide care in an ER setting focused on trauma and emergency patients; participate in triage, treatment and patient support across ages as required by the unit.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work in an emergency/trauma and acute care environment; willingness to care for patients across all ages
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts; comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and collaboration skills; capable of teaching and facilitating discharge planning
