Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology (Travel) – Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: 08/18/2026.13-week assignment with guaranteed 38 hours per week. Shift: four 10-hour days, starting at 7:30 am; no on-call and no weekend requirements. This is a clinic-based oncology role focused on outpatient care (not infusion). Prior medical oncology clinic experience is required and knowledge of chemotherapy and other biotherapy therapies is expected with the appropriate credentialing.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology clinic patients in an outpatient setting, including patient assessments, vital signs, and timely documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies per physician orders, with attention to safety and patient tolerability; monitor for adverse effects and respond per policy.
- Perform triage for symptom management, education, and follow-up planning; coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the care team.
- Prepare exam rooms and procedure areas, maintain infection control standards, collect necessary specimens, and ensure accurate charting and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support day-to-day clinic operations and ensure high-quality patient experience.

Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing.
- BLS (AHA Provider) certification.
- Oncology Nursing Society credential or active membership.
- Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card.
- Minimum of two years of oncology clinic experience.
- Ability to work in an outpatient oncology clinic setting.
- Colorado CAPS compliance may be required; processing can take up to two weeks.
- Colorado-based travel rule: traveler must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
- Ensure accurate SSN and date of birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding delays.
