Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology (Travel) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: 08/18/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,306-$2,412 per week. Guaranteed hours: 38 per week. Shift: 10-hour days (four 10-hour shifts per week) starting at 7:30 am. Setting: outpatient oncology clinic. This travel assignment is for a temporary, clinic-based RN focused on medical oncology, not infusion therapy.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments in the clinic, including vital signs and symptom screening for oncology patients
- Administer prescribed non-infusion oncology medications and supportive therapies per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Triage patient concerns, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary oncology team, and facilitate referrals as needed
- Document care and treatment plans in the electronic health record; review labs and respond to abnormal values
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, symptom management, medication administration, and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinic staff to optimize patient flow and care quality
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing
- BLS (AHA Provider)
- Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card
- Minimum of two years of oncology experience in a clinic setting
- Ability to work in an outpatient oncology clinic environment
