This is a travel, temporary assignment in a long-term care setting. Local candidates only; the schedule includes every other weekend (EOW) with a rotating pattern.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under the direction of the supervising nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and policy
- Monitor resident status, perform routine assessments, and document findings in the charting system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Respond to call lights, identify safety risks, and intervene to maintain resident comfort and safety
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide wound care or other skilled tasks within scope of practice
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts with a rotating schedule; local candidate required
- Basic documentation skills and ability to work with electronic health records
- CPR/BLS certification preferred; strong communication and teamwork abilities
