Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,973 to $2,084 per week. Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital-level emergency center providing a full spectrum of emergency care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in the emergency setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer IV therapies, medications, and blood products as ordered; monitor and document patient responses and adverse effects.
- Initiate and coordinate emergency care, including rapid assessment, triage, and disposition planning; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions; ensure clear, accurate documentation of nursing actions and patient responses.
- Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing subtle changes and escalating concerns promptly; uphold patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Maine (or verifiable eligibility for travel assignment in Maine)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Experience: 1+ year of critical care nursing experience; ER or ICU background strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and provide high-quality, patient-centered care
