Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Berlin, Vermont. This travel assignment starts on 05/04/2026 and spans 6 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,719 to $2,930. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Shift: 4x10 Days. Work setting: hospital OR unit with diverse case mix including orthopedics, general, ophthalmology, urology, and gynecology.

Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub in OR cases per unit protocol; assist with draping, instrument counts, and sterile technique
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field; manage instruments, supplies, and case carts for a range of procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgeons across orthopedic, eye, general, urology, and gynecology cases; support cataract and other specialty procedures as needed
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; document frequently in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate changes to the team
- Assist with positioning, anesthesia turnover, and safe patient transports to PACU; support efficient OR turnover between cases
- Ensure compliance with unit policies, dress code, and safety protocols; maintain equipment readiness and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical OR nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to circulate and scrub; strong teamwork with anesthesia and surgeons
- Willingness to participate in on-call requirements: one weekend rotation every 5 weeks and one weekday evening call per week; evening calls may be required for some shifts
- Comfortable working in a high-volume OR with varied specialty case mix
