Role Specifics and Benefits:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant in this program, you’ll be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities that support both patient outcomes and your professional development. Your daily duties will include:
- Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, administering therapeutic interventions, monitoring responses, and documenting progress with precision.
- Guiding patients through therapeutic exercise programs, gait and balance training, ROM exercises, strengthening protocols, and activity- or task-specific tasks aimed at restoring independence.

- Educating patients and families on home exercise programs, safety practices, assistive devices, and strategies to prevent relapse or re-injury.
- Helping manage equipment, preparing treatment spaces, and upholding strict safety and infection-control standards.
- Communicating patient progress and barriers to the care team, collaborating to optimize care plans, and supporting smooth transitions of care.
