Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the Med/Surg unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including cardiac and critical care adjacencies as clinically appropriate
- Monitor patient vitals, assess for changes in condition, and respond to emergent situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other health professionals to plan and execute patient care plans
- Perform routine nursing procedures, maintain accuracy in electronic health records, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Float within the scope of practice as needed and communicate patient needs and changes in status to the care team
- Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and treatment expectations

Requirements
- Licensure: KS RN license or Compact multi-state license
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg hospital nursing experience
- Other: New graduates not accepted; able to work 12-hour night shifts; willingness to float within scope of practice as needed
