Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse, ER travel position in Milton, Massachusetts. Start date August 4, 2026 for a 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital setting. Payment ranges from $741 to $777 per week with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly. Shift is 3x12-hour evenings (11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.). This travel assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC and requires MA licensure at submission or a temporary license. RTO is not approved; orientation occurs monthly; ED leadership expects timely completion of onboarding steps.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of acutely ill or injured patients
- Manage telemetry monitoring, interpret rhythm strips, administer medications, and document results and interventions accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform procedures within scope of practice, maintain patient safety, and enforce infection control and safety standards
- Maintain clear, concise documentation in the electronic health record; communicate changes in patient status to the care team
- Respond to emergency situations, participate in resuscitation efforts when needed, and coordinate with the team for rapid patient throughput
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts at time of submission or eligible for MA licensure (or temporary license)
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS or ENPC preferred; TNCC preferred or required per unit needs
- 2+ years of ER, telemetry, or acute care experience
- Ability to work a 12-hour evening shift and comply with unit coverage needs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers)
- Start date must be feasible on August 4, 2026
- Onboarding assessments include telemetry ECG test and medications test on day one at orientation; 85% passing score; one attempt only; tests administered via Zoom; testing scheduled within 48 hours of confirmation and completed within one week
