Overview
Registered Nurse – ER needed for a travel assignment in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This 13-week contract runs beginning 11/09/2026 with guaranteed 24 hours per week. You’ll work 12-hour nights (approximately 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every weekend coverage (Sat/Sun) in a short-term acute care hospital setting. ER experience and a Wisconsin RN license are required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of acutely ill or injured patients
- Administer medications, perform procedures as ordered, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams; communicate changes in patient status promptly
- Document care and interventions in Epic, with attention to accuracy and timeliness; maintain charting within the last year
- Participate in unit activities such as point-of-care testing, blood sampling, ISTAT reporting, and maintaining supply levels
- Float to related departments and other facilities within a defined radius as needed; support coverage during holiday rotations
Requirements
- Licensure: Wisconsin RN license (or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC (required)
- Education: ADN or Diploma required; BSN strongly preferred, not mandatory
- Experience: ER RN experience 3–5+ years required; one prior completed travel contract required
- Additional: Epic charting experience in the last year; ability to work 12-hour night shifts; flexible for unit float and weekend rotations
