Responsibilities
- Perform OT evaluations and develop treatment plans for an outpatient population with orthopedic needs and pediatric concerns
- Deliver individualized therapy to improve mobility, dexterity, daily activities, and functional independence
- Implement evidence-based rehabilitation protocols; document evaluations, progress notes, and outcome measures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with patients and caregivers; support discharge planning and home exercise programs
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, safety strategies, and activity modification; ensure appropriate patient and caregiver understanding
- Maintain accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and infection control practices; adhere to deadlines for required forms and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation, including orthopedic care and pediatrics
- Ability to work in an outpatient setting and manage a diverse caseload
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with electronic records
- Eligibility to practice as an OT in the United States
- Ability to complete required compliance documentation at least two weeks prior to start
