This travel PT role is located in a long-term care setting. The assignment begins May 4, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. The schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with times that may be flexible as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation. The position follows AHSA's clinical interview process, with outreach typically within hours and rapid decisions.

Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop and implement appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards
- Administer interventions as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; wound care
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments; document outcomes in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical requirements
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders; coordinate discharge planning
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
- Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students; participate in required meetings and trainings; ensure regulatory and ethical practice
- Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system; maintain patient records according to policy; record treatment minutes accurately
- Obtain necessary equipment or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements as needed

Requirements
- Missouri State Physical Therapist license – Required
- Minimum 1 year of PT experience – Required
- LTC or Rehab experience – Required
- New graduates accepted with Level II fieldwork/experience (not Level I observation) – Allowed
- Ability to work in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting; ability to supervise PTAs and rehab aides/students
