Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting, Geneva, NY. Start date 09/21/2026 for 23 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,080–$2,211. Shift details: 7a–7p or 7p–7a, rotating. This is a travel temporary assignment requiring ICU-level care for adult, geriatric patients and involvement in an intensive care team.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management as ordered
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; titrate vasoactive infusions and manage sedation and analgesia
- Interpret clinical data, respond to changes in patient status, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members; participate in daily rounds and update care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; maintain patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
- Provide neurological assessments using NIHSS as indicated and respond to emergencies with appropriate resuscitation measures
- Support families with clear communication regarding prognosis and care plans while respecting age-specific needs and privacy

Requirements
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- NIHSS certification or demonstrated competency in NIHSS assessment
- Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification within 90 days of hire
- ICU experience or demonstrated capability in critical care nursing; ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- ENA certification within 2 years is preferred; TNCC recommended within 2 years
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including days and nights and holiday coverage as part of a FT ICU assignment
