Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately.
- Monitor residents, assess changes, and report findings to the supervising nurse.
- Perform routine nursing tasks including vital signs, assessments, wound care, and daily living support.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and safety to prevent falls.
- Maintain clear, complete documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update care plans.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license (state-specific) in good standing.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; available for the guaranteed hours per week.
- Local residency or ability to commute to the assignment location.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
