Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide routine nursing tasks under supervision, such as taking vital signs and documenting observations
- Reposition and transfer residents safely to prevent pressure injuries and maintain comfort
- Report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse promptly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment in accordance with infection control and safety guidelines
- Support meal service and assist with feeding as needed and according to care plans
- Observe for and document changes in patient status; communicate concerns to licensed staff
- Assist with basic therapeutic activities and routine procedures as delegated by charge nurses
- Demonstrate proper body mechanics and use of safety equipment during resident care
Requirements
- Night shift availability to cover 17:00–05:00 (3x12 shifts)
- Flexible with working days; open availability to pick up shifts as the center needs; days will vary
- Local candidates preferred; local-only block contract
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting
