Registered Nurse (LTAC) – Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $861-$921 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTAC residents in alignment with individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient status, perform rounds, assess vital signs, and document changes in the medical record.
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to adjust care plans as needed.
- Respond to emergencies, manage call lights, and maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning; prepare and educate patients and families as appropriate.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license to practice in New Mexico or a valid compact license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- 1–2 years of nursing experience in LTAC, SNF, or related acute/long-term care settings; travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights and maintain a 3x12-hour schedule (18:00–06:30).
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
