Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse with a Long-Term Care specialty is needed for a travel assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. Start date is 04/20/2026 for a 9-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $635 to $664, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, days only, in an LTC - Nursing Home setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents per individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document in the medical record
- Monitor resident status, report changes to the supervising RN, and respond promptly to safety concerns
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support mobility, nutrition, and comfort
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, quality care
- Maintain regulatory compliance, complete accurate charting, and uphold infection control and safety standards
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Rhode Island (or eligibility for licensure by endorsement)
- CPR certification (BLS) preferred or required per facility policy
- Ability to work the listed shift and weekend requirements (7:00 am–3:30 pm with alternating weekends)
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is preferred
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; strong patient-centered care mindset
- Willingness to comply with travel assignment requirements and onboarding processes
