Key responsibilities and growth opportunities:
- Perform interventional imaging and procedural guidance during IR cases using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT fusion when appropriate, while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety.
- Prepare patients, monitor vital signs, manage contrast administration, and provide post-procedure care and education.
- Assist with catheter placements, biopsies, device deployments, and complex therapeutic interventions; document procedures accurately and contribute to quality assurance programs.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to optimize protocols, radiation safety, and patient outcomes.
