Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric in ICU/SDU, within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage devices and lines, perform bedside procedures as required.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in rounds, and update care plans.
- Maintain professional nursing standards, ensure patient safety, and document care accurately.
- Supervise or mentor CNA/SNA, LPN, or other healthcare staff as assigned and allocated.
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA verification) required; ability to provide license documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC or TCAR preferred.
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in Michigan.
- Ability to work in an ICU/SDU environment and on a 3x12 night shift; must be able to pick up at least one shift every 60 days to stay active.
