Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Pontiac, Michigan, is available for a travel PRN assignment beginning 05/18/2026. This weeks-long engagement offers a weekly pay range of $1,664–$1,719 with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 3x12-hour nights. The role is in a hospital setting with duties spanning Intensive Care Unit and Step-down Unit care in an intermediate ICU environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate and deliver nursing care for critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric across medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical diagnoses
- Monitor and assess patient status, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment within scope of practice
- Implement and document care plans, respond to clinical changes, and participate in rapid response as needed
- Maintain professional nursing standards, ensure patient safety, and adhere to infection control practices
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNA/SNA, LPN or other healthcare workers as assigned
- Communicate clearly with the interprofessional team and families to support patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA) verification required
- 2+ years ICU experience (required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- TNCC or TCAR certifications (preferred)
- Resume with ICU experience (required)
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to ICU specialty (required)
- Michigan license verification on file (required)
- Copies of certifications (required)
- Must complete the McLaren Per Diem Application Questionnaire (required)
- Must pick up at least one shift every 60 days to stay active
Education
- RN education from an accredited program; current state licensure to practice in Michigan
