Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for CCU patients, including monitoring hemodynamics and adjusting care as ordered
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assist with invasive monitoring and specialty equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement and revise individualized care plans
- Respond to emergent situations, including code events, and participate in rapid assessment and intervention
- Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the charting system; ensure accuracy and timely updates
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of submission
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; preferred 3 years
- Education: RN education (licensure to practice in MA); posting does not specify degree requirements beyond licensure
- Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccine plus booster required (no exemptions)
- Local radius: Within 50 miles; local candidates not accepted for this assignment
