Registered Nurse – Dialysis is a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont, United States. The opening starts 04/06/2026 for a 10-week assignment with a weekly pay range of $2,481 to $2,603 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient dialysis nursing care to ESRD patients, administering treatments and monitoring patient status during dialysis sessions
- Assess vascular access, manage potential complications, and respond promptly to adverse events
- Administer prescribed medications and collaborate with the nephrology team to ensure individualized care plans
- Document care in the EMR (EPIC) and communicate updates to the care team
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, medications, and lifestyle considerations
- Float to additional sites as required and maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Vermont
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; minimum 1 year outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including 8/9/10/12-hour shifts, and to float to St. Albans and Berlin as needed
- Reliable transportation required; public transit not available in the area; winter driving precautions recommended
