Responsibilities
- Serve as circulating nurse and scrub role as needed within the OR and across multiple service lines
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and OR safety standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists during procedures
- Adapt to cases across service lines such as Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, and Neuro as needed
- Document intraoperative events accurately and facilitate clear post-operative handoffs
- Work within a model that encompasses both circulating and scrub responsibilities, with flexibility to support unit needs
Requirements
- OR/perioperative experience and comfort serving as circulator in a busy surgical setting
- Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts and support an 8-week travel assignment
- Willingness to travel to the assignment location and adhere to the schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; capable of functioning under pressure in the OR
- Availability to start on or before 10/26/2026; Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call or weekend requirement per program notes
