Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Scrub and circulate for surgical cases, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating team needs.
- Assist with anesthesia, patient positioning, and equipment setup; verify appropriate monitoring.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and document perioperative care accurately.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff; adhere to safety and infection-control protocols.
- Support case turnover and room readiness between procedures; manage supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state not specified in this posting; eligible to practice as a registered nurse)
- Previous travel nursing experience (required)
- Level 1 trauma experience (required)
- Strong clinical skills demonstrated on skills checklist (required)
- Burn care experience is preferred
- Availability for day shift with call, weekends, and holidays; no block scheduling
