This is a travel assignment for a qualified SLP to provide patient-centered evaluation and therapy in an acute care hospital setting. The assignment requires Hawaii licensure by start and includes Epic EMR documentation for inpatient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.
- Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies in radiology without radiologist supervision.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress in the inpatient EMR (Epic) and outpatient documentation in applicable systems (Meditech as referenced).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, radiology, nursing, therapy) to support discharge planning and coordinate referrals for outpatient care when appropriate.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with licensure and safety requirements; participate in unit-based training and orientation.
- May float to other units/departments as needed to support patient care, depending on census and staffing.

Requirements
- Hawaii state license in Speech-Language Pathology or Hawaii rehab licensure in appropriate discipline; active license by start of assignment.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SNF-level care or rehabilitative hospital settings; acute care experience preferred.
- Proficiency in independently performing MBS studies; ability to work in radiology without radiologist supervision.
- EMR experience with Epic (inpatient) and Meditech documentation; EMR training provided as part of orientation.
- Ability to work a day shift and to fulfill travel assignment requirements in Hawaii.
