Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
ER Registered Nurse (Travel) in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 05/04/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Earn $2,227 to $2,365 per week with 36 guaranteed hours on a 3x12 rotating shift in a rural critical access hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms
- Triage patients to prioritize care based on acuity and ensure critical cases are attended promptly
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments per physician orders; perform emergency procedures as needed
- Monitor patient status continuously, adjust interventions, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; document care in electronic health records or charts
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care; uphold patient advocacy and infection control standards
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
- Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required; CRASE training required if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months
- Experience: None required; prior clinical ER experience is desirable
- Skills: Strong clinical skills and critical thinking; excellent communication and teamwork; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced ED
- Physical/Work Requirements: Ability to perform essential tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds; continuous standing/walking; ability to work long 12-hour shifts
