Travel Registered Nurse House Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor (Charge RN) position in Newark, NY, travel assignment starting 05/05/2026 for Weeks. Expect 36 hours per week on a 4x9 night shift pattern. Weekly pay range is $2,295 to $2,451 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. The role is based in a 180-bed skilled nursing facility serving geriatric patients across five units.

Responsibilities
- Serve as RN Supervisor / Charge RN on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; provide clinical leadership across five units
- Mentor and coach staff; support staffing decisions, patient flow, and problem-solving across units
- De-escalate and manage assaultive or behavioral patients; ensure safety for patients and staff
- Perform IV starts, PICC line care, and wound care; manage tube feeds, ostomy care, and indwelling catheter care
- Support code management, emergency preparedness, and infection control; ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate incident reporting
- Maintain EPIC charting; document care plans and collaborate with PT, pharmacy, social services, and other disciplines
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (DPH, TJC, OSHA) and participate in ongoing professional practice
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in-hand to submit
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; prior charge supervision experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work across multiple geriatric care units and float as needed
- First-time travelers accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- RTO/submittal: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Background checks reviewed case-by-case
