Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Temp - RN - ICU (Nights) in Pontiac, Michigan. This travel assignment in an Intensive Care Unit and a Step-down Unit requires providing expert nursing care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric. Start date is 04/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,691 to $1,754 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver, coordinate, and adapt care for critically ill patients across adolescent to geriatric ages in ICU/SDU settings.
- Manage a variety of diagnoses (medical, surgical, cardiac, neurosurgical) with evidence-based nursing practices.
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor vitals and hemodynamics, and support ventilator and other life-support therapies as appropriate.
- Maintain professional nursing standards, document patient status, and respond to rapid changes in condition.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNA/SNA, LPN, or other health care workers as assigned; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team and float to Step-down units as needed.
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license; license verification via LARA and Nursys required
- 2+ years ICU experience (required)
- Travel experience (preferred)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
- Ability to work in ICU/SDU settings and float to Step-down units; ASAP start
- Documentation and profile requirements: current certifications and licensure records available for review; provide explanations if any license issues arise
